Here's what is going on this week 6/7.

 Looking Back:

  Thank you to everyone who attended our meeting last week! This summer will be amazing and I'm very excited to get it started! If you haven't received the summer packet then please be sure to pick it up, it has all the important forms and information on events about this summer!

 Looking Forward:

  The 2010 World Cup begins THIS Friday!!! We will discuss the power and impact of this great event worldwide and how special it is that South Africa is hosting. Please take time to watch some of the matches so you can observe just how huge soccer is in the world!

Youth Group this week:                               World Cup 2010 & "The Prize"

    We'll watch the short film "The Prize". It tells the stories of 6 internation super stars and how they use their God-given skills to glorify God. We'll discuss how we can use everything we do to glorify God.

 

 

Youth Group next week: June 16                             South Africa & World Cup 2010

    Come and learn about the history of South Africa and

    why the World Cup is such an important world event!

Our 2 S.C.U.M. designs are $5 a piece. If you don't have both the Black or Green shirt then pick it up!

***We also have order forms for the UMY-SD t-shirts: OUR MISSION...  OUR COMMUNITY

They are $10 and come in a variety of colors. All money raised goes to help UMCOR in Haiti.
