Youth Building!!!

  Construction of the new SCUM-Youth building is scheduled to begin Monday February 8th!!!

  Thanks to the tireless dedication of the Building Committee this new space is scheduled to be completed this June/July.

   This is a very exciting time for San Carlos United Methodist Church and SCUM-Youth! This Sunday Feb.7 after the 10:00am service we'll have the dedication for the new SCUM-Youth building.  Sunday will be important for so many reasons, primarily the commitment that the congregation here at San Carlos UMC is making for the youth in our whole community. This building will be a youth-first location for not only SCUM-Youth but a location of support and outreach to the people in San Carlos. Some of the programs we hope to include (In addition to a place for an expanded SCUM-Youth Program): After school study program, Computer Lab, and Adult Computer Literacy program.

   This is just the beginning of what we hope to offer. The beauty of the building is that it will bring opportunities for God to work in our community that we don't even know yet.

    So I invite you, EVERYONE!, to join us for worship at 10:00am this Sunday and following worship we'll walk over and dedicate this new building, that with God's grace will be a place that extends our care and support to the young people of San Carlos.

    I hope everyone will be there to celebrate this new opportunity and the people who dedicated so much of their time the last 2 years to make this come to life. See you Sunday!!!
